Fiberglass laminates are pressed sheet materials based on fiberglass and a binder made from epoxy, epoxyphenol, epoxybrominated and multifunctional epoxy novolac resins. Fiberglass laminates are intended for use as electrical insulating gaskets, substrates and special-purpose parts. They are used in electrical machines in the form of wedges for slot insulation of stator windings of alternating current machines, rotor windings of generators and asynchronous motors, as well as armature windings of direct current machines.

Paper based laminates is a pressed electrotechnical sheet material based on cellulose paper impregnated with modified and unmodified phenol-formaldehyde resins. Paper based laminates are used as an electrical insulating material. Various parts for low-voltage and high-voltage equipment are made from Paper based laminates, including: electrical insulators, protective panels, contact strips, blocks, switch bases, insulating washers, gaskets, housings. Paper based laminates of various types differ in electrical insulation and mechanical characteristics, the ability to operate in a particular environment.

Electrotechnical and structural cotton cloth laminate is a layered sheet pressed material based on cotton and mixed fabrics impregnated with various types of resol resins: anilinophenol-formaldehyde, phenol-formaldehyde, phenol-formaldehyde modified with various additives to ensure high anti-friction properties. Cotton cloth laminate is intended for the manufacture of worm wheel gears, bushings, plain bearings, rollers, rings and other structural products operating at low temperatures. Electrotechnical cotton cloth laminate is intended for the manufacture of washers, gaskets and other products operating in transformer oil.

IMPREGNATED MATERIALS (PREPREGS)

Prepreg is a base (electrical insulating fiberglass, cotton fabric, cellulose paper), impregnated with a phenolic binder or a phenolic binder with modifying additives which is prepolymerized to stage B. Used for the further production of products of free form by hot molding. Available in the form of rolls or sheets in a size agreed with the customer.
